It is ideal for screening dry granular material from 1 in. down to 30 mesh particle size. The Stedi-Flo screen feeder can be flood fed and mounted directly below any size surge hopper and eas- ily handles abrasive materials like silica sand or fine products such as granulated sugar. The screen deck is easily replaced. It is available in either stainless steel or mild steel construction. Dynamic Air Inc., St. Paul, MN 651-484-2900 www.dynamicair.com Snappy Shakers Snappy shakers are used for high-intensity screening, cleaning, and/or sifting. Ten models are available with single-, double-, or triple-deck configurations. Screening capacities range up to 50 tn/hr. Features include: heavy-duty construction; low main- tenance, low horsepower; easily removable screens; ball screen option aids particle stratification for more efficient cleaning; custom perforations or wire mesh screens; available in split screen styles that allow products to pass over the top and bottom deck simultaneously for double the scalping capacity; triple-deck models available for additional separations; available in open, covered, or totally-enclosed models for use outdoors or in dust-free environments. S. Howes, Silver Creek, NY 716-934-2611 showes.com Custom Separators and Classifiers SPEC Engineering specializes in custom- designed process systems that will take your concept to design to reality. The company utilizes air classifying and a complete regime of screen separating designs. Starting with an analysis of your feedstock material, wet will laser analyze your distribution and recommend the best approach considering all variables in- volved. Sifters can be used to screen and separate materials. SPEC Engineering, Plainfield, IL 815-676-5006 www.spec.engineering Vibratory Conveyors Screen/Scalp These portable vibratory conveyors can be designed to screen fines, scalp overs, and cordially convey product, while minimizing product breakage and/or loss of applied coatings. When working with unfriendly product characteristics such as dusty and/ or hygroscopic materials, the vibratory conveyors contain the product with tight sealing covers for contamination prevention and containing dusty product. This prevents damage from dust to other equipment and keeps the surrounding environ- ment clean. The conveyors are designed to provide functionality, sanitation, low- energy consumption, and long life. Machine and Process Design, Anoka, MN 877-224-0653 mpd-inc.com Large Tube Housing for Grain Cleaning Industrial Magnetics' LTH large tube housing magnet increases end-product purity by incor- porating strong, 3-in.-diam 52 Grade Rare Earth magnetic circuitry. The LTH is optimal for up- stream processing in advance of product purifica- tion magnets. Grains in cleaning areas tend to have a relatively large amount of ferrous contami- nation that consists of rust, small metal fragments, nuts, bolts, etc. Many of these foreign objects aren't suitable to flow over and through 1-in.-diam magnetic tubes on 3-in. centers, due to damage to the tube and the threat of plugging the magnet because of too much metal. The 3-in. LTH design, on 6-in. centers, provides appropriate open area for product flow and the capture rate exceeds traditional plate-to-plate magnet or "deep-reach" style magnets. Plate magnets are generally not optimal for capturing rust and smaller metal, and often there isn't a good chute arrangement to accommodate the use of a plate magnet. Industrial Magnetics Inc., Boyne City, MI 231-582-3100 www.magnetics.com The legendary APEX™ high- performance screener features our exclusive Gyratory Reciprocating Motion. Generating circular and elliptical material flow, this technology enables higher yields with extremely precise near-size separations. 800-453-2321 | rotex.com THE PATH TO HIGHER PROFITS IS MOSTLY ELLIPTICAL.
