Products+Services 36 | JULY 2016 LED Work Light The 150-W pedestal-mounted BML- 150LED light-emitting diode (LED)–based industrial work light from Larson Electron- ics can produce 14,790 lm of high-intensity light and illuminate an area of 18,000 sq ft. Thirty 5-W LEDs, each one generating 493 lm, are arranged in rows and paired with high-purity optics to create a focused 25° spot beam. The adjustable LED light head can be moved vertically via a hand screw located on the side of the unit. Lying between single-level-cell (SLC) and multilevel-cell MLC) NAND flash, this recently introduced technology is a system designed to provide performance nearly equivalent to that of SLC NAND flash and durability several times greater than that of MLC NAND flash. It reprograms the two bits per cell of MLC into one bit per cell, enabling the sequential write speed potentially to reach the level of 95 MB/sec, twice as fast as MLC flash chips. The fault-tolerant memory cards function at operating temperatures of –40° to 85°C and can deliver as many as 30,000 pro- gram-erase cycles.
