Its four main specialties are: blister packaging, bottling, pouching, and convenience vial fi lling. Quality as- surance remains paramount at Reed-Lane, where all staf maintain an exemplary standard of cGMP and FDA compliance. FACILITIES Reed-Lane is based at a 132,000-square-foot fa- cility in Wayne, NJ, with more than 35 dedicated production suites for pharmaceutical (Rx and OTC) packaging. The space includes rooms for individual air handling and HEPA fi ltration systems in primary suites, temperature-controlled storage for bulk and fi nished goods, and strict environment and security monitoring throughout. The facility is FDA and DEA registered and Shuster SPR audited. The new suite – Reed-Lane's fi rst for such purposes – debuted with the installation of an Optel Vision TrackSafe™ system. The suite's line confi guration allows Reed Lane to serialize individual cartons; aggregate cartons to cases; aggregate cartons to bundles; aggregate bundles to cases; aggregate cases to pallets; or rework previously serialized items ac- cording to customer needs. • Reed-Lane has added to its existing 132,000-square-foot facility with a 30% increase in warehouse space. The warehouse expansion makes room for an expected increase in overall production, as the company also put the fi nishing touches on its fi fth bottling line. Among the nine premium machines in the new bottling line is an MPS 48-16 Slat Filler from Modular Packaging Systems, which is equipped with dual dust extraction points to eliminate excessive dust buildup from within the product hopper area.
