Neopac produces tubes with excellent barrier properties and customer specifi c applicators, setting a high value on cleanroom technology and Good Manufacturing Practices. Neopac produces its goods on three dedicated pharmaceutical tube lines in a cleanroom environment; in accordance with ISO class 8/9 requirements and EC guidelines for the good manufacturing practice of pharmaceutical products. Particle and microbiological monitoring procedures confi rm the cleanliness of the tubes and premises. Roughly 80% of production is exported, in particular to European customers but also the USA, Japan, and China. Neopac manufactures the smallest fl exible barrier tubes in the world for fi lling volumes of 1 to 5 ml, in diameters of 10 and 13.5 mm. STABILITY FOR PHARMACEUTICAL LIQUIDS: HANDY, CHILD-PROOF, TAMPER-EVIDENT PACKAGING Neopac's metered dropper tube for pharmaceutical liquid applications impresses its customers with a choice of three closures: 1) Dropper and Miniwing™ cap with handy reinforcements Consumers often have dif culty gripping and opening small tubes and so Neopac has developed an ergonomic cap that in addition to fl uting also has small reinforcements, which makes the cap easier for consumers to grip and turn. When turning, your fi ngers don't slip of . The force used is transmitted to the cap and to opening the tube. 2) Dropper and child-proof nozzle cap The smallest certifi ed child-proof nozzle cap in the world (see News from 2013) will soon be applied to the dropper tube. To open it, the user presses on the cap while simultaneously turning it, ensuring that children are well protected from taking the medicines themselves. 3) Dropper and nozzle cap with tamper evidence If you need to prove that the dropper solution was not opened before its fi rst use, we recommend the nozzle cap with a pull-of ring. They have long been used with ophthalmic creams and are also ideally suited to liquid applications. The Polyfoil® dropper tube is available for 1–30 ml contents, in diameters of 10mm, 13.5mm, 16mm, 19mm, and 25mm. Order samples from us with the cap of your choice for fi rst-opening tests. NEOPAC WINS THE ETMA AWARD 2015 FOR LAMINATE TUBES This year in June, Neopac won an award for its Polyfoil® PP tube with the Twist'n'Use™ applicator. The tube is used for ultrasound transmission gel in the medical fi eld. It was voted "Tube of the Year 2015" in the "Laminate" category; a prize awarded by the Association of European Tube Manufacturers (ETMA) at its annual conference. www.neopac.com
