Nair previously served as Sabinsa's CFO from 2001 to 2010. Over the course of his career, Nair spent 23 years with the State Bank of India in senior assignments Nair specializing in marketing, business development, training, and human resources activities. After his nine years as Sabinsa's CFO, Nair set up a U.S. company for the 126-year-old, India-based Muthoot Group. He is also an accomplished speaker in the banking industry on topics spanning communication and marketing. "Sabinsa has accomplished many impressive achievements, and I am very much looking forward to working with the team to expand our reach," said Nair. "Sabinsa's portfolio of products can have a signifcant impact on the health of consumers worldwide, which was Dr. Majeed's original mission, and I am pleased to be back at Sabinsa to help pursue that mission." LycoRed Ltd. (Beer Sheva, Israel) has appointed Marlene Comon as regional Comon sales manager for the French food and beverage market. Comon will focus on the company's natural food colorants line, as well as its vitamin and mineral premixes. From 2004 through 2012, she served as account manager in France for Tate & Lyle. National Enzyme Co. (Forsyth, MO) has announced the appointment of Melony Fuller as its senior marketing manager. With 16 years of sales and marketing experience, Fuller arrives at National Enzyme from Cargill Animal Nutrition (Kansas City, KS), where she developed the new branding and marketing aspects for Cargill's Prime Quality livestock feeds. December 8–12 Global Summit on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Miri, Malaysia Tamara Brey, former Chicago district FDA consumer safety offcer, has joined law frm Amin Talati LLC (Chicago). Amin Talati specializes in FDA, FTC, patent, trademark, and licensing matters. Brey will serve as an associate attorney focusing on food and drug import, label, and customs issues. As an FDA investigator, she conducted GMP inspections of medical device, drug, cosmetic, and food manufacturers and distributors. Amin Talati also hired former Illinois Assistant Attorney General, Saira Alikhan. In her former position, Alikhan managed 50 federal cases relating to allegations of constitutional and related violations. December 9–10 BevNET Live Santa Monica, CA Nutraceuticals International Group (Paramus, NJ) has added Matt Moskowitz to its sales team. Along with seven years of sales experience, Moskowitz brings with him a passion for optimal nutrition and the feld of nutraceuticals.
