[ Feature ] Albéa highlighted the tubes earlier this year at Luxe Pack New York, including the Nea and SP343, for lotion formulations, as well as the SP32 for spray formulations, along with its history of tube production. Explained Doug Jackson, Market Manager North America, in the statement: "The first examples of our new synergy are the airless pump plus tube offerings showcased at Luxe Pack New York. The 'new' Albéa will help customers simplify product development efforts, shorten supply chains, and build their brands." Albéa's tubes, Jackson added, offer a range of customization, including decoration technologies such as flexography, silkscreen, offset, and hot stamping. "All visual effects—whether photo-like, metallic-looking, matte and gloss, or 3D printing—are available with airless pump plus tube solutions to support customer creativity," stated Jackson. Want to produce a more sustainable tube package, better looking, using high performance webs? These dispensers deliver 360° application; precise, consistent dosage: and a high restitution rate, all in an easy-tocarry format, reports Albéa. The SP343 is available with several finishes and actuator designs, and it can accommodate a range of viscosities. The Nea's 100% neutrality offers additional protection for delicate formulations, Albéa reports. It features a high suction rate and soft actuation, even with the highest viscosities. Available now are 25-mm and 30-mm diameter pumps with the NEA pump and 25-, 30-, and 35-mm models with the SP343 pump, covering filling capacities from 15 ml to 125 ml. These dispensers deliver 360° application; precise, consistent dosage; and a high restitution rate, all in an easy to carry format, Albéa reports. New formats for higher capacities will debut later this year, the company reports. Earlier this year, Albéa Tubes France began building a new site in Argonne, which is expected to open in early 2014. This new plant furthers Albéa's European production goals, with two production sites (Argonne and Vandières). The Albéa Argonne site will provide capacity for new developments in cosmetic standards. The site is being designed as a model of operational excellence in terms of quality, safety, and logistics, as well as being one of the Albéa group's centers for strategic development and innovation, the company reports.
