Advanced RF Level Switch The SAL18 series RF admittance point level switch eliminates prob- lems associated with product build- up on the sensor probe and makes setup quick and easy with pushbut- ton calibration. Application control is enhanced with the independent adjustable time delay on material presence and mate- rial absence detections. The level switch features a local LED indication, 20-250VAC/VDC universal power supply, pushbutton calibration, independent adjustable time delay for each material absence and material presence detec- tion and can work with target materials with a dielectric constant down to as low as 1.5. High temp models up to -40°F~842°F are available. But, as with any fl exible connection in a live production system, if the connector is removed at any time, there is still a potential risk of injury. A new innovation further enhances worker safety. The BFM pneumatic monitoring system pumps pressurized air between the silicone cuff of the connector and the spigot it sits inside. An air-line sensor immediately detects if this outward pressure is released as the connector cuff starts to be removed, setting off an alarm and/or shutting off any moving parts below.
